Amanda Machin, RECODE-MLG project manager,  Professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Work @University of Agder explains the concept of twin transition and how it is governed

So first of all, I think that citizens and stakeholders along with policy makers and experts will benefit from knowing a bit more about twin transition and how it’s governed. And I think that’s what we’re one of the things we’re doing is generating some important empirical data and conceptual uh conceptual models around what uh twin transition is and how it’s governed. Um perhaps a bit more tangibly we’re also looking at co-creation and we’re looking at how citizens can be involved in policy making around important issues. So this actually goes beyond twin transition and actually could be any kind of of issue or policy area or topic. You know, how can we empower citizens to actually have their voices heard in a different way to perhaps um models of deliberative democracy have so far uh suggested?
