Together with Piero Tortola, Research Staff, Research Centre for the Study of Democratic Cultures and Politics, University of Groningen we explore why city networks are important for the RECODE-MLG project and how they support collaboration, knowledge exchange, and policy innovation across Europe. The discussion highlights the role of city networks in connecting local actors, sharing best practices, strengthening multilevel governance, and helping cities address common challenges through collective action and cooperation.
